I went out Saturday morning to check on my Fallen Leaf
Lake box--it is so lonely! It was a glorious morning,
crystal sky, no snow on the road or trail, Mt. Tallac
looking crisp and majestic. It's a great time to visit
the lake!

I'm hoping I can make it to the carving event. I know
it's a date I voted for (I think), but now I'm not
sure what I was thinking. The Sunday before
Christmas?!?? I guess I was being optimistic, and I
will continue in that mode until it is no longer
feasible!
